Venugopala under Kadamba Tree – Vrindavan Brass Sculpture
This beautiful brass sculpture depicts Lord Krishna as Venugopala, standing gracefully in tribhanga posture while playing the divine flute, the music that, as scriptures say, enchanted not just the gopikas but all of nature itself. English Transliteration:
Venum karne vahan pitam vasah kanaka kapisham,
Vaijayantim cha malam Vrindavanam swapada ramanam.
Meaning:
He who holds the flute, who wears the golden-yellow garments and the Vaijayanti garland, and who makes Vrindavan itself rejoice with his divine presence.
