The Hoysalas, whose architectural masterpieces at Belur, Halebidu, and Somanathapura remain among the most intricate stone temples in the world, developed a sculptural aesthetic distinguished by ornamental density, rhythmic posture, and exquisite surface detailing.

Meaning

I bow to Krishna who stands beside Radha, delighting the worlds with the music of His flute.
Bearing the conch and discus, He reveals His supreme divine nature.
